The Harrock Building houses 5 large practice rooms for instrumental lessons, group work and private practice. Each room is dedicated to specific instruments.

The rooms contain Yamaha U1 acoustic pianos and Roland electric pianos. We have two electronic drum kits and three acoustic kits in the department along with various guitars, basses and percussion instruments (timpani, xylophone, glockenspiel etc.). Each room can also be used as a standalone recording space along with two rooms being wired as live rooms to our recording studio.

The rooms are unlocked at 8:00am and are locked up at around 5:30/6:00pm. If you wish to use a room and there is no lesson in there, you are free to use them whenever you need to. Rooms can be booked for specific projects with Josh Duffy (department technician).
